Yahoo!: currently, commercial sites are required to pay Yahoo's Express submission fee of $299 per year. This guarantees that your submission will be reviewed within seven business days.

DMOZ (aka The Open Directory or ODP): this directory distinguishes itself from Yahoo! by "being developed and managed by a constantly growing community of net-citizens who are experts in their areas of interest." DMOZ does not have an express submission service, however, "a well-written, thoughtful submission has a greater chance of getting reviewed sooner than a sloppy, careless one."

Zeal: a carefully developed submission of a non-commercial page of your website to the Zeal directory can result in a listing in all of the places that LookSmart listings appear. Currently, there is no express submission for Zeal.
